The Skinny:

My name is Beth and I like to cook. It's as simple as that. I'm just a gal who likes to experiment and create my own versions of dishes we all know and love--ones that make you go back for seconds, because the first helping just wasn't enough.

You can go here to learn even more about me.

Contributors:

Michelle is my sister. My family is full of good cooks, and she just happens to be one of them. She lives in Texas with her husband, Chris, and her two crazy kids, Michael and Hope. (It needs to be noted that Hope has expressed on numerous occasions, that she wants credit for Michelle's photos, since she is the one that takes them. So, I'm giving her credit.)

PostHeaderIcon Retro Recipes - Magic Marshmallow Crescent Puffs

I am still unpacking. I guess it takes a while, or something. You know, to find places for things to go and whatnot. It's kind of a pain. Had you asked Jake, he would have told you a million times how much he dislikes moving. Because well, he told me. The scanner isn't hooked up. And, that obviously makes it hard to do Retro Recipes. So, I decided to pull one from Pillsbury's website. My grandmother had tons of these books, so I am fairly sure, she probably had this one.

This was created by Edna Walker of Wisconsin, for Pillbury's Bake-Off in 1969.

Here is the recipe.

I am in love with marshmallows. Specifically right now. With summer, and smores, and all. They are my weakness. One day, toasty marshmallows might actually take me down. So, of course, I saw this and was immediately drawn to it.

I haven't made this. I am still searching for my handwritten recipes that I did before the move, written on old envelopes (which Jake informed me was a bad idea). If you decide this is something you want to make, please snap a couple photos and send to me at the e-mail listed under contacts. I am hoping this starts a normal week of sharing recipes and pictures.
